As a Registered Social Worker, I strive to use my expertise in order to create a comfortable and safe environment for you.​

Since opening my practice, over a decade ago, my goal for working with my clients was to use a holistic approach to help empower them to transform their lives in sustainable ways. I use a combination of several evidence-based practices, including but not limited to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution-Focused Counselling, Traumatic Incident Reduction, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction techniques, as well as complementary alternative therapies (e.g. sound, light, movement) with individualized assessments and plans to support to help clients achieve their desired outcomes.

I am further honoured to have been able to be trained and to continue to train and learn from my clients, colleagues and community members in diverse training opportunities to help me grow as a practitioner to best help be an ally and support any oppressed person, including but not limited to, Indigenous peoples of Canada, immigrants, refugees, individuals who identify as members of ethno-cultural, Black and other racialized populations, LGBTQIAA2S+ folx, persons with disabilities, people experiencing homelessness, children and youth in care, people living in institutions and people living in remote areas.

Whether working in my private practice, helping in the community, or spending time with my family and friends, I have always believed in growing people to their full potential and helping them live their best life.
